- Colosseo (2 stops away on the metro line B or a 10 minute walk): Built in 72 AD, it hosted organised fights between gladiators and animals.
- Piazza di Spagna (3 stops away on metro line A or a 15 minute walk): The square is famous for its characteristic butterfly form, the Spanish Steps, and the fountain of the Barcaccia.
- Fontana di Trevi (2 stops away on metro line A or a 10 minute walk): The central statue represents Neptune with 2 tritons at his side that guide the sea horses, one infuriated and the other docile; these sea horses represent the aspects of the human heart. Traditionally, if you turn your back and you throw a coin into the fountain your wish to come back to Rome will come true.
