Built in 1871 and rebuilt from the ground up in 2007, this landmark Cumbrian hotel offers 18 luxury en suite rooms with designer bathrooms (many with stand alone baths).
The first floor Regency Function Suite is a fully rebuilt and extremely stylish bar, conference/dining room with large dance floor area. It is capable of accommodating up to 80 diners and 200 + non-dining guests.

The rooms have been individually designed to offer comfort, sophistication and luxury. All rooms are non-smoking and offer either twin or double accommodation. The single beds are 3'3'' wide and the doubles are 6' super King-sizes.
Each of the lovely bedrooms features a flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom and designer fittings.

The Consort Bar on the ground floor is a place for true lovers of food and drink. It has 8 cask conditioned beers, over 100 bottled beers, a dozen wines all available by the glass and an eclectic array of spirits, liqueurs and whiskies. When arriving by car, use Hitchen's car park located next to the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel. Once you have checked-in we will issue you with a parking permit. Please leave this permit on the dashboard.
By Train
Leave the train station car park and turn left. You will see the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel on the opposite side of Abbey Road (approximately 100 metres from the station).
