Our Ambra Spa offers a wide range of facilities and has received praise from the German Wellness Association.

From our soothing warm indoor pool with light-flooded quiet room you can savour the wonderful view of the sea. Enjoy an invigorating aqua aerobics session in the morning, or unwind in our sauna area.

We also offer unique treatments with a local touch: healing Rügen chalk, marine massages, exclusive sea cosmetics and wellness ceremonies with warm amber stones form part of our spa menu.

These treatments are used intensively in our amber grotto, with steam and warm mist, or on our Sanotherm loungers which soothe your body with soft vibrations.

Our double and single rooms feature light woods, subtle colours and moden comforts for your wellbeing.

Rooms facing the cliff's edge offer a wonderful sea view while rooms located at the sides of the building include a balcony from which you can also see the Baltic Sea.

Food & Beverage

Each morning we offer a comprehensive breakfast buffet in our restaurant, providing you with the perfect start to the day.

Throughout the day and in the evenings our chef Detlev Nützmann and his team are waiting to spoil you with delicious fish and meat dishes from the region of West Pomerania. During the summer you may also dine on our large terrace overlooking the sea and the chalk cliffs.

In the evening we open our bar "Bernsteinlounge", which makes an excellent meeting place; here you can enjoy a good glass of wine or a cocktail while gazing at the Baltic Sea.

Area information

Sellin is located on the southeast coast of Rügen, just upstream of the Mönchgut Peninsula.

A coastal resort rich in tradition, it offers a relaxing break consisting of sun, sand and sea. There is something to suit everyone here, whether you prefer to unwind on the main beach or the nudist beach, stroll along the shopping streets or take a walk along the longest pier in Germany.

Travel information

The island of Rügen can be reached via the A20 motorway. Follow the turn-off to Rügen and head towards Stralsund. The B96 leads to Bergen via Rügendamm. From here you continue via the B196 towards Göhren, until you reach Sellin. In Sellin turn left into the main road. Cross over the railway crossing of the "Rasende Roland" – the island's historic narrow-gauge railway. Follow the main road into Granitzer Straße and turn left into Wilhelmstraße after 100 metres. Just before the pier, turn right into a steep road to reach our hotel. We offer a private car park.

Arrival by train is also possible: Binz's main railway station lies just 12 kilometres away.
