Room information

Single rooms:
All our single rooms feature Grandlit beds and a balcony. As there are only 10 single rooms, it is very important to reserve them as early as possible.

Double rooms with balcony:
All double rooms with balcony are located on the front side of the building. Saturday arrivals receive a room toward the Fex Valley, Sunday arrivals a room on the village side.

Lower double rooms without balcony:
These rooms look toward the hotel Waldhaus and are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. As these rooms have no view, they are the lowest-priced rooms of the hotel.

Upper double rooms without balcony:
These rooms are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors and look toward the hotel Waldhaus.

Triple rooms:
These double rooms with extra bed are ideal for families with a child and feature a balcony.

Gallery rooms, with or without balcony:
Ordinary double rooms with a gallery featuring two additional beds. Please note that the stairway is not suitable for small children and older persons.

Family Suite:
Double room and triple rooms with connecting corridor and joint ensuite bathroom, also with balcony.

Food & Beverage

The Arvenstube is a cosy meeting place for lunch, homemade cakes and, after meals, for coffee and games.

In the dining room, we serve you a sumptuous breakfast buffet and 4-course dinners every day of the week. On Fridays, a rich dessert and cheese buffet complements our culinary offerings.

The hotel Schweizerhof also features a bar with live music.

Area information

The idyllic village of Sils enjoys a beautiful location close to two wonderful lakes, Lake Silvaplana and Lake Sils. In winter they offer ideal conditions for cross-country skiing and hikes through the snow, in summer they are perfect for long walks.

Sils is well-known as a source of energy and as a place of quiet and relaxation, but also for its wide range of cultural and sports activities.

Travel information

Arrival by train:
Take the SBB to Chur and there change onto the Rhätische Bahn in the direction of St. Moritz. The Engadin Bus or the post car will bring you to Sils Maria Posta.

Transportation of luggage:
Travelling by train, you can send your luggage from the station. Your luggage will be delivered to the hotel Schweizerhof and can also be picked up again.
For your luggage to arrive in Sils on time, please send it at least 2 to 3 days before your departure using the address Sils/Segl Maria, Hotel Schweizerhof.

Tickets for sending your luggage back home are available at the hotel.

Arrival by car:
Travelling via Chur-Thusis-Julierpass-Silvaplana-Sils Maria, Dorfplatz.
Or instead of travelling via Julier just put your car through the Vereina Tunnel from Klosters to Sagliains.

Comments

We suggest you book an insurance for cancellation costs and a return trip insurance. Should your private insurance not cover those costs you can book a cancellation insurance with the hotel for 4% of the amount of booking.

This insurance covers all occurring costs of a cancellation in case its terms such as sickness, accidents, death, severe material-damage of your property at home are being fulfilled.
Compensation of the unused amount of the arrangement in case of early departure.

Pets
Pets are not allowed.

Children and extra beds
All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Cancellation
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Internet
Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the business centre and is free of charge.

Prepay Policy
No deposit will be charged.

Parking
Private parking is possible on site and costs CHF 11.00 per day.
Public parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible) and costs CHF 6.00 per day.
